Safety Car
Suggestion that there should be safety cars in GPRO which would bunch all the field back up again.
Main arguments against cite that with no real people hurt or in danger inside GPRO, then the need for the safety car is negated. This would also only lead to more random results, with manager strategies never capable of predicting when a safety car period may happen. Without being able to update race strategy during the race, this would simply cause frustration.

Live / Real Time Strategy Changes
Suggestion that managers should be able to adjust their strategy mid-race.
Main arguments against cite that it would give an unfair advantage to managers who are online and able to watch the race live (the race takes place in the middle of the night for Australian managers, for example).
Discussed in more detail here and here.
Two Tyre Compounds (Like F1)
Suggestion that we should have to use two different compounds during the race, like currently seen in F1.
As with all F1 based suggestions - the main argument against is simple. GPRO may be based on F1 in a very general sense, but that does not mean it should be expected to follow the F1 regulations. F1 rules and regulations are forever changing, which would mean large chunks of the game would need to be redesigned and re-coded each year. In a game like this, where consistency and analysis of fixed data streams is key - then large, sweeping changes would only frustrate managers.

Three Stage Qualifying (Like F1)
Suggestion that we should have 3 separate qualifying sessions, like currently seen in F1.

Publish Car Weights After Qualifying (Like F1)
Suggestion that each manager's car weights should be published after qualifying, like currently seen in F1.
The main arguments against this idea are two-fold. Firstly, it would make analysis of data much easier, as you would be able to work out each manager's fuel consumption by watching for when they pit. Secondly, it would remove any surprise or excitement surrounding rival manager strategies - as this would basically be revealed prior to the race.

Endurance / Season Break Races
Suggestion that between race 17 of one season and race 1 of the next season there could be a single race (or multiple races) of a different type to the standard GPRO race.
The main argument is that the two week gap between seasons is already being used, the first week for the admins to prepare for the season reset, the second week is the managers preparation for race 1. To add in any 'off-season' races would only delay the restart of the new season.

Also, the quote in the section about more than 2 races per week (below) also applies here.
More Than 2 Races Per Week
Suggestion that there should be more (up to 7) races every week instead of 2.
Unfortunately, more races per week would not give adequate time for some managers to perform all their post-race analysis, prepare for the next race and perform any required staff recruitment - especially if they don't have access to GPRO every single day.
The Administrators also quite enjoy having a life of their own, and don't wish to spend every evening running race scripts and keeping everything in check. Let them have a beer some nights alright?
To quote Vladimir Alexandrov in one such thread:
"You should know by now that any idea involving any kind of big race, a 24h race, Sunday race, 3 races per week, super league during the off season, non official races of any kind, etc is doomed not to be implemented :)"
Two Race Drivers
Suggestion that managers should be able to sign 2 drivers, and therefore run 2 cars for each race.
Two drivers (or better, Two cars), means only half the spots available for managers in a group. Two cars also means much much much quicker data collection and cracking formulas, because you can control much easier all variables.
Discussed in more detail here.
Test / Youth Drivers
Suggestion that managers should be able to sign a test driver to use during test sessions, or a youth driver to build for the future whilst still racing with your current pilot.
Discussed in more detail: Test Drivers | Youth Drivers.
Ability To View Teammate Data
Suggestion that teammates should be able to view each other's stats, attributes and data (such as driver, Technical director, practise screens, qualification screens, race strategy screens).
