__NOTOC__[[Image:Liveries.jpg|400px|thumb|The Change Livery page]]There is a wide variety of different car liveries for you to choose for your car.  These are simply to help distinguish yourself during the race from the other managers in your league.

Group Cup competition is a tournament introduced from season 16 that allows managers to compete in head to head battles with other managers of their group, based on the results in races of the regular season.

Simply click the livery you wish to race with and it will be automatically selected.  Hovering over each livery will also give you information on which car and year the livery is based on (if you are unable to immediately recognise it!).
+
==Structure==

'''If you are a supporter''' then you also gain access to a further tab of classic liveries to choose from.
+
The Cup competition follows a knock out format consisting of 6 rounds.

=====Think some liveries are missing?=====
+
*The first 32 managers in the season standings after Race 2 will take part in cup competition (this is considered stage 1). The initial pairing after Race 2 will be done as follows: the first 8 of the season standings after Race 2 will be seeded like in any common knockout system whereas all others will be randomly assigned.
New liveries are added as an on-going basis, so if you think any are missing, please don't hesitate to contact the graphics team, or post a request in [http://www.gpro.se/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=5195 this thread]
+
*Each of the next stages of cup consist of 3 races: 1/16 (races 3-5), 1/8 (races 6-8), 1/4 (races 9-11), 1/2 (races 12-14), cup final (races 15-17).
 +
*To win a stage a manager has to beat his opponent in at least 2 of the 3 races included in the stage and will then advance to the next stage of the cup.
 +
**If two rivals have 1 win each and both miss one race the winner will be the one who has higher season standings position.
 +
**If both managers miss 3 races then nobody will go further in the cup net. Their potential opponent won't have a rival on the next stage.

New Formula 1 liveries for each season are usually added a few days before the start of the F1 season (usually in March).
+
==Seedings and Draw==

Only liveries from the history of Formula 1 will be added as public or supporter liveries - therefore if you would prefer a fantasy or national livery, then we would suggest creating one and using this as your team or personal livery.
+
The players in the top 8 places in season standings table after race 2 are seeded 1 through to 8 according to their positions and are allocated a quarter of the draw to themselves such that:

==Pit Crew==
+
*Seed 1 and 2 cannot meet each other until finals
After choosing your livery, you can click the "Pit Crew Color" tab to then select a matching (or contrasting, depending on your own style) color for your crew to wear during pitstops.
+
*Seeds 1 and 4 and Seeds 2 and 3 cannot meet each other until semi finals
 +
*Seeds 1 and 8, Seeds 2 and 7, Seeds 3 and 6 and Seeds 4 and 5 cannot meet each other until quarter finals

As with car liveries, please note that different pit crew colors '''offer no speed advantage''' over each other, and are purely for presentation.

All other draws are made randomly

Overview

Group Cup competition is a tournament introduced from season 16 that allows managers to compete in head to head battles with other managers of their group, based on the results in races of the regular season.

Structure

The Cup competition follows a knock out format consisting of 6 rounds.

  • The first 32 managers in the season standings after Race 2 will take part in cup competition (this is considered stage 1). The initial pairing after Race 2 will be done as follows: the first 8 of the season standings after Race 2 will be seeded like in any common knockout system whereas all others will be randomly assigned.
  • Each of the next stages of cup consist of 3 races: 1/16 (races 3-5), 1/8 (races 6-8), 1/4 (races 9-11), 1/2 (races 12-14), cup final (races 15-17).
  • To win a stage a manager has to beat his opponent in at least 2 of the 3 races included in the stage and will then advance to the next stage of the cup.
    • If two rivals have 1 win each and both miss one race the winner will be the one who has higher season standings position.
    • If both managers miss 3 races then nobody will go further in the cup net. Their potential opponent won't have a rival on the next stage.

Seedings and Draw

The players in the top 8 places in season standings table after race 2 are seeded 1 through to 8 according to their positions and are allocated a quarter of the draw to themselves such that:

  • Seed 1 and 2 cannot meet each other until finals
  • Seeds 1 and 4 and Seeds 2 and 3 cannot meet each other until semi finals
  • Seeds 1 and 8, Seeds 2 and 7, Seeds 3 and 6 and Seeds 4 and 5 cannot meet each other until quarter finals

All other draws are made randomly

Prize money

Master $900.000 per stage
